What do these different order statuses mean?
Your order's status and the gift card(s) on your order can have a couple of different statuses listed, and they may not always match!
For order statuses:
"Pending Review": PerfectGift.com's system is looking at your order and card details to make sure everything looks good for safety and authenticity, as well as verifying any custom card art that may be included on your order to make sure it's safe.
"Pending": Your order is being prepared to print and/or email your gift cards. This is the final step before PerfectGift.com fully processes your orders.
"Processing": Your order is going through payment processing and your gift cards are being created! The gift cards on your order may be in different statuses based on their individual creation and printing status.
"Completed": Your order has been printed/emailed to your recipients! Physical gift cards are either mailed on the same day if the order is processed before 4PM ET, or the following business day. eGift cards are mailed immediately following order processing, regardless of business day.
"Cancelled": Your order was not able to be processed and was subsequently cancelled. Any payment authorization made for this order has been cancelled and will disappear from your credit card statement within 5 business days.
"Refunded": Your order has been completely refunded. You can see the total amount refunded to the right of or below your order total.
What do these different card statuses mean?

For card statuses:
"Pending Artwork Review": Your custom card art is being reviewed by PerfectGift.com's system to ensure it meets our image guidelines.
"Pending": PerfectGift.com's system is looking at your order and card details to make sure everything looks good for safety and authenticity, as well as verifying any custom card art that may be included on your order to make sure it's safe.
"Processing": Your gift card is being created!
"Processed": Your gift card has been created and is being sent via email or physically mailed.
"Received and Opened": For virtual cards, we confirm that your recipient has opened and successfully has access to their gift card.
"Sent": For physical cards, this is after we create the appropriate shipment for your card (USPS, FedEx, etc.) and pass it to our shipping partner. Your card is either on the way to your recipient, or will be when our shipping partner enters it into their system on the following business day!
"Cancelled": Your gift card was not able to be processed and was subsequently cancelled. Any part of the authorization made for the gift card value, processing fees, customization fees, and individual shipping fees were released from the total order value.
When will the gift cards arrive?
Depending on which gift card option you chose, here are the delivery timeframes.
eGift card delivery: On average, eGift card orders are delivered within 5 minutes of processing. There may be a short delay in between the time an order is placed and when it can be processed, and when the order is processed and when it can be fulfilled. eGift card(s) on an order with Plastic gift cards are not emailed until the plastic gift cards are successfully printed and ready for shipping.
Plastic gift card delivery: Gift cards are shipped in 48 hours and will be delivered within the shipping time selected during checkout. Typically, you can expect to receive your physical gift card within 4 days.
However, after 10 days you still haven’t received the gift card(s) from your order, please contact our customer support via our support page.
Visa gift cards: Please allow 4 business days for your Visa gift card to be processed, custom printed and delivered within the appropriate shipping time selected during checkout.
If after 10 days you still haven’t received the gift card(s) from your order, please contact customer support.
Why is my order cancelled?
Here are some common reasons for order cancellation:
The information provided does not match or was deemed not acceptable by your payment card's issuing bank.
The delivery address entered was deemed not able to be delivered to.
Our third-party risk analysis partner declined to accept the order for compliance purposes.*
Please note: We are not able to provide details about why the order was cancelled if it was been deemed unacceptable by our third-party compliance partner.
